Big Stories amid the May-Day Break

I hope this finds you all well. With the long May Day holiday in China for much of the week, we’re taking a break from the newsletter too. We’ll be back to regular form next week. But there are a few developments, such as India’s decision on 5G trials, the G7 summit and WHO’s approval for Sinopharm’s vaccine that I’d like to highlight. I am sharing links to these and some other stories that I found noteworthy below. Also, I’ll be speaking on a panel on Tuesday, discussing the India’s economic strategy with regard to China.
